Burton Taylor Studio
The Burton Taylor is the University theatre and spiritual home of Oxford student drama. This is where the drama officer's office is and it's also the venue that sees most productions a term - up to 14. The venue is managed by the Playhouse on behalf of the University and professional shows are programmed outside term time.

National Student Drama Festival
An annual gathering of young people interested in drama, with selected student shows from around the country, workshops from theatre professionals and the opportunity to meet like-minded people. Their website has information about entering your show to be selected for the festival as well as what this year's programme is and how to get tickets.

New Theatre
The New is the largest theatre in Oxford and tends to programme large-scale touring productions, including opera, musicals and live music. It and the OFS are sister venues.

North Wall Arts Centre
Oxford's youngest venue is part of St Edward's school in Summertown. A beautifully flexible space, it plays host to a blend of touring productions, local productions, art, music and cinema.

OFS Studio
The OFS takes 20 weeks of student productions each year, as well as programming professional shows at other times.

O'Reilly Theatre, Keble
Keble college's O'Reilly theatre is one of the more active college theatres, normally hosting four productions each term. It is managed by the student-run Martin Esslin society.

OUDS
Oxford University Dramatic Society, founded in 1885, is one of the oldest student drama societies in the world. The website contains information about the society and the events they put on as well as the members-only jobcentre, where adverts for auditions and vacancies are posted.

Pegasus Theatre
Located out of the centre of town on Magdalen Road, the Pegasus is a theatre with a strong sense of community. It has a great youth programme and also manages to programme fantastic dance and children's shows as well as straight theatre.

TAFF, the university theatre technicians' society, is an excellent resource for anyone involved in technical theatre in Oxford. Their guides to venues and production roles and the archived tech FAQs are invaluable.
